Thank you for your interest in partnering with Winterfell on this summer’s event lineup. We have one opportunity left to vend for the season on October 5, 2024.
The University of Minnesota Duluth Athletics Department, Midwest Radio and Bayfront Festival Park have teamed up to present the 1st Annual Bayfront Bulldog Bash in conjunction with the start of the UMD Men’s Hockey season on Saturday, October 5th from 2pm-4:15pm
As this is a first year event, we are trying to keep costs low and incentivize vendors to partner with us to grow the event for this and future years.
Here is a sample schedule (subject to change):

In order to kickstart this event and to drive food sales, UMD Athletics will be providing a $10 voucher to the first 500 students that will be bussed directly to Bayfront. We would ask that you create a $10 meal off of your menu that can be redeemed for this voucher. We will collect vouchers at the end of the event and settle with each vendor individually via check or ACH.
UMD will directly market this event to all of their 5,000 season ticket holders and we are incentivizing guests to attend by exchanging giveaway items like UMD branded bucket hats and a complimentary beverage for the first 300 vehicles that park in the Bayfront lot.
This event will also be marketed on UMD Athletics social media, Midwest Communications Radio stations, Bayfront Social media and the Duluth News Tribune.
Weather will have an impact on what size audiences we’ll see for this event and we are trying to keep costs low for vendors to better establish this event.
Vendors that choose to partner with Winterfell again for this event will be placed closer to the center entrance.
Application Acceptance/Locations will be determined by the following criteria: Number of events and seniority of vendor. Food vendors will be given priority over craft vendors due to their higher cost of entry.
There is a maximum limit of 2 of the same primary type of Food Vendors.
Examples:

2 Kettle Corn vendors = no additional Kettle Corn Vendors

2 burger vendors = no additional burger vendors

2 asian food vendors = no additional asian food vendors
We reserve the right to determine what primary food type means. For example, serving desserts like ice cream, donuts etc in addition to your primary menu doesn't mean that an ice cream only vendor would be precluded and vice versa. The goal is to not put too many of the same types of foods directly near each other. If the roster is full for the type of food you vend, we will issue an email informing you and a full refund.
