Bayfront Festival Park is one of Duluth’s most beautiful public parks located on the shores of Lake Superior. Visitors to the park can view ships from around the world entering the harbor under the Aerial Lift Bridge.
Bayfront Festival Park is home to a variety of events and activities throughout the year. This summer, enjoy an exciting array of festivals featuring music, entertainment, art and food. During winter months, there is ice skating and a holiday lighting display.
The Bayfront Family Center is open Monday through Friday, 4pm-8pm; Saturday, 1pm-8pm; and Sunday, 1-5pm. There are also special weekday hours during school breaks, 1-8pm. The Bayfront Family Center is open weather permitting to accommodate pleasure skaters and others who want to enjoy Winter at its BEST. This season, City Parks & Recreation staff will have ice skates to loan out as well as sleds, snowshoes, snow sculpting tools…..and even a couple of pairs of Cross Country Skis for kids to try!

Year-round, Playfront Playground is open to children of all ages. Bayfront Festival Park’s restroom building is open daily during the summer months from 8am to 8pm.
